Materials Engineering

The Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin offers graduate studies in the area of Materials Science & Engineering. Both Master of Science in Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Mechanical Engineering are offered in this area. The Materials Engineering Area within Mechanical Engineering includes eleven full-time faculty available to supervise degree candidates. These faculty pursue research in a wide variety of topics related to Materials Engineering and within the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
