ME 382P - ADVANCED EXPERIMENTAL METHODS FOR THERMAL/FLUID SYSTEMS

PREREQUISITES:
Graduate standing required. Additional prerequisite: Mechanical Engineering 242L or the equivalent.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Design of experiments; fundamentals of electronic signal processing and optics; and advanced experimental techniques, including laser-Doppler velocimetry, hot-wire anemometry, and thermocouples. Two lecture hours and three laboratory hours a week for one semester.
