Research/Teaching Interests

Dr. Kiehne specializes in thermodynamics and heat transfer. Dr. Kiehne is a faculty member of the Thermal/Fluid Systems program of the Mechanical Engineering Department. He has served on the College of Engineering faculty since 1998. He received the 2005 UT-Austin Student Engineering Council Favorite ME Teacher Award, awarded during Faculty Appreciation Week.
