EPIC COMMITTEE
|
|
EPIC stands for Educational Process Improvement Committee. The EPIC Committee is the
Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accreditation committee for the
Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin. EPIC is comprised of Faculty
in the Mechanical Engineering Department who are working together through a number of sub-committees
to improve the curricula and processes of education in our Department.

EPIC MISSION STATEMENT
The Committee shall coordinate the development and continuous improvement of all academic
programs in the Department by:

Facilitating the development
of educational objectives and assessment plans;

Facilitating the documentation
of this continual educational improvement process; and
-
Facilitating the communication
of this continual educational improvement process to the Department constituents
and stakeholders.
