Janet L. Ellzey
Dr. Ellzey specializes in combustion and fluid mechanics. Dr. Ellzey is a faculty member of the Thermal/Fluid Systems program of the Mechanical Engineering Department. She has served on the College of Engineering faculty since 1990. Dr. Ellzey was the winner of the 2005 Women in Engineering Student Advocate Award. In 2004 she became the Associate Chair for International Engineering Programs, where she directs the Department's International Engineering Education (Study Abroad) Program. She has three years of industrial experience and has published numerous technical articles and reports. Along with Dr. Ron Matthews and former Ph.D. students Yiqun Huang and Terrence Alger, she won the Myers Award for Outstanding Student Paper during the Society of Automotive Engineering SAE 2002 World Congress and Exhibition in Detroit.
