Alfred E. Traver

Dr. Traver is interested in the application of computer and control technology to automate the construction process and improve the quality and quantity of work produced, as well as safety and job satisfaction of workers. Dr. Traver is a faculty member of the Manufacturing & Design program of the Mechanical Engineering Department. He has served on the Cockrell School of Engineering faculty since 1978 and previously taught at Tennessee Technological University. He has seven years of industrial experience and has published more than 75 technical articles and reports.
