Ms. Berry performs system administration duties such as software/hardware installations and troubleshooting for the Mechanical Engineering Learning Resource Center Microcomputer Labs. ME Faculty, Staff, and Students contact her for installation and maintenance of network circuits and network equipment in the ETC building. She consults with faculty and students concerning microcomputer and network problems, and keeps track of IP addresses, subnets, and circuit locations. ME Students see her for several reasons, including:

  • To request info about the network or to order network connections
  • To request help in connecting a machine to the network
  • To inquire about software/hardware being used in the METER Micro Labs
  • To submit a resume for a job as a lab proctor or system administrator
  • To provide feedback, requests, or complaints about any aspect of the METER Labs

She received the ME Department Staff Award for November/December 1994 and also earned the Cockrell School of Engineering Staff Excellence Award for 2001.
