Prabhu P. Khalsa

Prabhu is responsible for recruiting and admissions for the Mechanical Engineering and Operations Research and Industrial Engineering programs. She is the primary contact person for prospective students and processes all applications for admission. She organizes the new student orientation each semester and coordinates the on-site Spring recruiting visit for top recruits to the department. Prabhu also coordinates fellowship and scholarship offers for new students. She shares responsibility with the other the Graduate Coordinator for current students' registration and advising needs and for updating and maintaining student records and databases.

Prabhu has an undergraduate degree in Music from UT Austin, has worked at UT for 10 years and has been with the Mechanical Engineering Department since July 2008.
