The Faculty Innovation Center provides high-quality instructional technology to support faculty teaching and research. Services include lecture capture, web conferencing, classroom response systems, 3D illustration and animation, video production, interactive simulations and web applications.
Computing Services, METER
The Cockrell School information technology office can help faculty with computer needs, including software installs and updates, lab computers, laptop encryption, printer support, classroom software, website assistance, user accounts and passwords.

Resources and Technical Support
Virtual Desktop (vDesk) service for remote access to departmental software: The (vDesk) service offers a way to access programs from your own computer at home, at work, or at school.
Network Access in ETC Building: The ETC building has both wired and wireless network coverage available throughout the building. All network ports in public areas require UT EID authentication.
Service Center (Office Needs)
The Service Center is located on the fifth floor of ETC. A large color poster printer and several high-speed printers are available for your use. The poster printer is used for research posters and costs $20 per poster to use. The Service Center coordinator is Sarah Laney. They are responsible for producing the faculty photo wall on the second floor, talk flyers and assistance with clerical requests. Office supplies are stocked there, and may be ordered weekly by contacting Sarah Laney.
