Card Readers to be Installed in ETC

The ETC Building will soon have card readers installed. Card Readers will allow us to provide access to the building after normal business hours. The card reader system uses a special UT ID Card called a proximity card.

Those needing access to the ETC building after normal business hours must first obtain a proximity ID Card. Not all UT ID Cards are proximity cards.

Please contact the ID Center to obtain a UT Proximity ID Card. There is usually a fee of approximately $10 associated with obtaining one of these.

ME Faculty, Staff, Students and ETC Building Occupants will be receiving more details about how the card readers will work in the near future.
