PROJECT SPONSORSHIP

The University of Texas at Austin invites you to participate as a sponsor in the Mechanical Engineering Design Projects Program.

Sponsors benefit by having a student team examine their engineering problems. Projects that you may not currently have the time or facilities to pursue become the top priority of a design team of three senior engineering students. Project work includes problem definition, patent searches, alternative designs, design solution, cost analyses, etc. The cost to you includes a $3,500.00 subvention fee, plus extraordinary expenses.

If you prefer paper copies of these forms delivered to you via regular mail, please contact us at the phone number, fax number, or postal address at the top of the page.

For sponsors of current projects, a Sponsor Progress Evaluation and a Sponsor Program Evaluation can be downloaded here and faxed or mailed to the Design Projects Office at the above address.
