Advising

All Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate students have advising bars placed on their registration every semester, which can only be removed by the UGO during the designated advising and registration times.

Please set up your appointment to be advised. The meeting should take about 15 minutes.

Preregistration is reserved for continuing students who remove all registration bars in a timely manner. If you miss preregistration, you may register during the normal registration time, which is also the registration time for new and transfer students.

Basic sequence & conditional major sequence students must see a ME Academic Advisor to be advised. Students must make an appointment for advising. Major Sequence students are allowed to self-advise. A Self-Advising Form can be picked up in the Undergraduate Office. All students who are self-advised are required to honor all prerequisites unless they have explicit permission by the professor of the class that requires the prerequisite.
