Email: The University of Texas at Austin , doing research on process-induced fiber waviness in composite materials. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. I received a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from theIndian Institute of Technology at Bombay , India in May of 1988 and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University at Lubbock, TX, U.S.A. in August of 1991

Research Interests

My current research interests include the modeling of fiber reinforced composites. In particular, the research is focused on the theoretical investigation of fiber waviness that developes in composites due to processing. These predictions of process-induced fiber waviness will lead to better capabilities for estimating the in-service performance of these materials.
