General Meeting and Elections Banquet

General Information

The Austin Chapter of INFORMS announces it's June General Meeting and first annual Elections Banquet at the Olive Garden restaurant at 3940 S Lamar Boulevard on Tuesday, June 20th. We cordially invite you to attend.Guests are welcome also.

Program of Events

7:00	Members and guests arrive.
7:15	Dinner is served.
7:45	David Nehme gives a presentation on his consulting work at ILOG, with a demonstration and discussion of the CPLEX solver.
8:30	Current chapter officers review the past year of activities and explain the opportunities and obligations for those who seek to hold office in the coming year.
8:45	Nominations and elections.

All Entrees Include:
    Freshly baked breadsticks
    Your choice of soup or garden salad
    Soft drink, milk, coffee, tea (complimentary refills)
    Vanilla ice cream

Please choose one of the following entrees:
1.    Classic Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. Traditional meat sauce seasonedwith garlic and herbs over spaghetti.
2.    Lasagna Classico. Layers of pasta, meat sauce, and ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan and romano cheeses.
3.    Eggplant Parmigiana. Eggplant slices lightly breaded and fried, topped with fresh marinara sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Served with spaghetti.
4.    Fettuccine Alfredo. Parmesan cream sauce with a hint of garlic, served over fettuccine.
5.    Ravioli di Portobello. Portobello mushroom-filled ravioli baked in a creamy smoked cheese and roasted sundried tomato sauce.

Price: $10 for members, $13.50 for guests. Members include any local OR professionals who intend to participate in future chapter activities, whether or not they have previously been active in this chapter. There are presently no dues required of members. Guests will not vote in the elections.

Additional items, such as wine, beer, and appetizers, may be ordered at the bar at your own additional expense.

Reservations

Since we must give the restaurant a headcount in advance to secure the room and the special pricing, we ask that you RSVP by email with your menu choices. We will not collect payment until the night of the event. Please respond to Rachel Rosendhal at rrosendhal@hotmail.com.
