It is time again for a social get-together of our chapter. Due to its overwhelming popularity, we have decided to meet again at the Scholz Garden (see
http://austin.citysearch.com/E/V/AUSTX/0002/52/91/ for directions). We may have to meet indoors this time around. Look forward to seeing you there.

Also, mark your calendars for January 23 and February 23. On January 23, we plan to have a general chapter meeting at Motorola. Shekar  Krishnaswamy will give a presentation regarding planning and scheduling at Motorola. February 23 is the date selected for our chapter conference. This year, the conference will
focus on optimization, and we expect to have speakers from UT-Austin, IBM T.J. Watson Center, Sabre, PROS Revenue Management in Houston, and AMD.
