The simple structure of the network model allows very efficient
implementations of the primal simplex technique for linear programming.
One such implementation is contained in this add-in called Teach
Network. The add-in has the file name teachnet.xla.
We use these pages to illustrate the workings of the add-in.
When the add-in is installed, a single new item is added to the
OR_MS menu as shown on the right. Clicking on this item displays
a dialog for the parameters of the network model.
The examples for this section are in the Teach Network demo (teachnetdem.xls).
To solve or change the model you must have the Teach Network add-in
loaded. Use the Relink buttons command to establish links to the
worksheet buttons.
