Career Opportunities

The success of the OR/IE graduate program is evidenced by the wide range of job opportunities realized by our recent graduates, many of whom are currently working for some of the most prestigious academic and corporate institutions in the country. Although the high tech industry in Austin continues to attract an increasing share of these students, the majority still find employment with such national organizations as Bell Laboratories, General Motors, American Airlines, Arthur Anderson & Company, and Motorola, to name a few. With the steadily growing demand for skilled analysts and the University's reputation for excellence, we have reason to be optimistic about the future.
