A group of faculty and graduate students win ASME Editor's Award.

A paper by associate professor Zhenghui Sha, professor Junmin Wang and Ph.D. student Ronnie Frank Pires Stone has received the Editor's Award from the ASME Journal of Computing and Information Science in Engineering.

The paper, 'Risk-Bounded and Probabilistic Roadmap-Based Motion Planner for Arbitrarily Shaped Robots With Uncertainty', was selected based on significant contributions to novel computational or modeling methodologies, potential impact on the engineering of products, processes, or systems, and likely influence on future research directions.
