Wang receives honor from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Junmin Wang, professor in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been elected as an IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) Distinguished Lecturer. Wang has also served as Distinguished Lecturer in three other IEEE Societies: IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.
Additionally, Wang was appointed to the Board of Directors of American Automatic Control Council (AACC), an association of nine member societies that represent the United States to the world control community and to support the mission of the individual member societies in enhancing the role and contributions of automation to the benefit of humankind. Wang will serve on the board representing ASME for a four year term.
