EWeek Kickoff event, hosted by ASME

Welcome to Engineers Week (EWeek), the week where engineering student organizations host a plethora of fun-filled events. EWeek involves competitions between the university's various engineering organizations. Each organization gets points for hosting, competing in, and placing in competitions.

Events

The EWeek kickoff was hosted by ASME, and included a relay race, with each leg of the race presenting a new challenge, such as, a four-legged race, holding an orange under the chin, balancing a marshmallow on a spoon, etc. The games were a tie between PNS and Tau Beta Pi.

Of the four large organizations (ASME, AIChE, IEEE, and SWE) the highest scoring organization will receive $700. Of the smaller organizations, the highest scorer will receive $500. The overall highest scorer will receive an additional $200. There will also be prizes awarded for second and third place in each categories.
